This marks the second phone app released by the award-winning site to help Jamaicans around the world stay in touch with friends and family, and stay informed about items of interest on the island. The app allows users to access the contents of Jamaicans.com from any location worldwide.

The site also contains a calendar with a comprehensive list of entertainments, festivals and special events around which to plan a sojourn on the isle.

Jamaicans.com features articles highlighting Jamaican musicians, artisans and authors, all of which can be viewed with the new app. Cultural information and a guide to Jamaican patois (pronounced patwah) is also available.
