Excitement brewing as the South Florida True Blue Weekend countdown continues and new sponsors come onboard: April 16th-18th, 2010, Miramar, Florida.
With only a few days to go, the True Blue weekend countdown has started as True Blue alumni, friends and family converge in South Florida from April 16th – 18th for a fun-filled weekend of events. True Blue alumni, friends and family now have the ability to track the countdown and the latest information on the Trueblueweekend.com website. Last year’s True Blue weekend drew over 850 people.
The weekend events kick off with The True Blue Mixer/Party on Friday April 16th, 2010. On Saturday April 17th there will a “soccerfest” as the Jamaica College Old Boys Association of Florida and the St. George’s College Old Boys Association of Florida play 3 soccer matches for the Ziadie Cup trophies. On Sunday, April 18th, the weekend ends as True Blue alumni, friends and family give thanks at a joint church service.

In 2009, the Florida chapter of the St. Andrew Old Girls’ Association marked its 20th anniversary. Through the years, the Association has continued to promote its original aims and objectives, that of bringing together all past students of the school, and fostering and maintaining their interest in that institution. Convent of Mercy Academy “Alpha” Association, Inc. (CMAAA, Inc.) – Florida Chapter, a/k/a Alpha Academy, was officially launched on September 6, 1995, in Dade County, Florida. The main goals of the Association are: (1) to provide financial aid to students attending the school who have excelled academically but are unable to complete their education financially; and (2) to contribute to the general needs of the school.
