Camp to the World is a summer camp for children 12-18 years old, which will be held at the College of Agriculture, Science and Education (C.A.S.E.), Passley Gardens in Portland. It is owned by CTW Enterprises, a private company which is registered in Jamaica to host youth camps and promote recreational activities.
CTW Enterprises will partner with PEY & Associates, a youth development company, led by Pauline Russell-Brown, to host our first camp from 9th to 15th of July and the second from the 16th to 22nd of July 2011.PEY & Associates is an organization which focuses on behavioural patterns, health and nutrition, sexual health education and counselling.
The camp will also be managed by a team of experienced professionals; past and present teachers, lecturers, principals, doctors and nurses.
There will also be exciting activities, including educational tours to the Port Antonio Infirmary and the farm at C.A.S.E., as well as recreational visits to Somerset Falls or French Man’s Cove and the Errol Flynn Marina.
Part of Camp to the World’s vision is celebrating one’s identity; uplifting an individual’s self-esteem; strengthening their character as well as honing their leadership skills while developing values such as humility, patience, respect, courage and forgiveness.
The camp fee is J$23,000 per camper per week and this fee covers accommodation for seven nights, three healthy nutritional meals, snacks, tours and insurance.
